Awkwafina

American actor and musician Awkwafina made her debut with humorous rap tracks that tackled sexuality and racial identities with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to broadening her reach to Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her first musical experience. She played the trumpet. Additionally, she was given classical and jazz training later when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. While in her schooling, she specialized in journalism and woman's studies. She was also a student of Mandarin during a time in Beijing. It wasn't until she graduated that her focus shift to music. In 2012 her track My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success through the Internet and was later released on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. The album featured other popular hits, including the body positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC BitcheUSD. The second track linked into Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide published in the year 2015, and was an additional initiative. After having a great career as a performer, she took on the role of an actor. In addition to early series, such Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in the movies Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. She had a breakthrough role in the year 2018, with several movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released by in Fina We Trust in June of that year.
