Courteney Cox
Courteney Cox is the American actor, director, and producer. Most famous for her character in the TV show 'Friends' as well as in one of the main roles in the "Scream" movie franchise. The actress was born in Birmingham, Alabama and developed an interest in acting as a youngster. She was enrolled in the study of the field of architecture at Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC; however, she ultimately left school for a full-time acting career. She made her film debut with a role in 'Down Twisted'. She started gaining fame after playing one of the most important characters in the horror-slasher film "Scream'. The film was extremely well-received commercially and earned eleven times its budget. It also received acclaim by the critics. Cox reprised her part in the 3 sequels from the original film. Her fame soared to the heights of her career after playing the lead role in the well-known sitcom 'Friends'. She received several nominations and awards for her role. The show and its huge success, ran for 10 years. The most recent projects include a part in the drama film "Mothers and Daughters'. A few of the accolades won by her include her TV Guide Award as a result of her role in the show "Friends," and the Golden Derby Award for her role in the TV program 'Cougartown'.
